TNT Kid's Fitness & Gymnastics
TNT Kid’s Fitness is a non-profit 501(c)(3)organization founded in 2005. The TNT mission presented a bright idea to provide an inclusive space for physical activity to serve children with special needs as well as competitive athletes. TNT embraced providing inclusive settings to meet the physical, social, emotional and cognitive needs. Our programs serve children starting at 0-99 years in age! Recreational and preschool programming, occupational therapy, special needs, school days out camps, no bummer summer cap, birthday and private parties, open gyms, SOAR after school program, USA team i.e.girls, boys, and USAF cheer, Rock Steady Boxing-Parkinson's and Adult no limits fitness.
TNT partnered with Fargo Public Schools to implement the Explorer Academy in North Dakota’s, the first K-8 special education day school with
integrated project-based STEAM and gross motor program opportunities. We strive to
support the whole child by embedding social-emotional learning in all facets of their
True to TNT’s nature, we added adult year-round fitness programs and designed a competition for individuals with special needs to compete against their peers. It wasn’t until our President & CEO, Kim Pladson, met with Fargo Native and NFL NY Jets center Connor McGovern to design, brand, and include all athletes to compete side by side! 2021 was the inaugural year for ABLE Games which was comprised of 75 teams: 150 athletes, 200+ volunteers, and hundreds of spectators over the two days cheering on the athletes!
