  • “I am firm believer in this program because the Red River Valley is a vibrant and attractive place to see one’s career blossom.  I want PoC to be a support system, a platform where we can celebrate each other, and a resource for the businesses in the region that are sincerely looking inwardly & outwardly at ways to make their work environment compelling. We have an ever-changing diversified workforce and PoC is here to help the FMWF area stay globally competitive by having the adequate tools to equip and support local businesses.”

Why did The Chamber create the POC program?
As an advocate of the regional business community, The Chamber recognizes that addressing the evolving demographic changes in our metro is fundamental to the growth and sustainability of our members. Creating an inclusive environment that engages individuals reflective of the full spectrum of our region strengthens our organizations and is key to the success of Fargo Moorhead West Fargo as a whole.
Who can get involved with POC?
With the growing population of our metro, we acknowledge the need for a group with a designated effort to include all members of our business community. Professionals of Color is for all members of our business community, with a designated effort to serve our diverse populations that are underrepresented in our current programming.
    Where will POC meet?
Like The Chamber’s YPN, Professionals of Color will rotate where we meet, showcasing a different Chamber member each event.
    When does POC meet?
Professionals of Color will meet once a quarter with a different focus area each meeting. Event information will be available in our publications.
    Will it cost to join?
There is no cost to be a member of our POC program.
