About Us

The Furniture Mission of the Red River Valley, a North Dakota non-profit corporation and 501c(3) tax-exempt organization, became a reality when a group of compassionate men and women discovered a vital need in the West Fargo/Fargo/Moorhead area and surrounding communities to provide gently-used furniture and household items at no cost to people in crisis. These people in crisis include, but are not limited to, individuals or families who have suffered loss of their household belongings due to fire, storms, or flood or people starting a new life after homelessness, significant financial loss, abusive situations, or even incarceration. This organization is Christian-based and serves the needs of people regardless of religion, race, or sexual preference.
