May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and everyone needs an opportunity and reminder to invest in their well-being.Women Connect is partnering with The FM Wellness Collective for an immersive journey into self-care at this wellness workshop. Discover the transformative power of prioritizing your well-being in both personal and professional realms. Through interactive sessions and guided activities, you'll explore practical strategies to cultivate resilience, manage stress and enhance your overall quality of life. The FM Wellness Collective is dedicated to supporting and empowering one another by making wellness more accessible and strengthening the culture of well-being in the FMWF area.
From mindfulness practices to value alignment, this workshop offers invaluable tools tailored for busy professionals like you. Invest in yourself and embark on a path to greater balance, fulfillment, and success. Don't miss this opportunity to nourish your mind, body, and soul.
Wellness Sessions include these FM Wellness Collective practitioners:
Saree Janz will demonstrate how to harness your mind as a tool to cultivate a sense of calm. She will guide participants in creating a "Success Anchor," an effective tool designed to boost performance and enhance overall well-being.Sarah Smith Warren will explore the use of writing and journaling as powerful wellness tools. She will discuss the benefits of writing, how to establish a regular writing practice and introduce various journaling techniques to support mental health.Melissa Pachak will emphasize that true well-being begins with self-awareness. Participants will assess their feelings about different life areas, identify any disconnects between their values and daily lives, and set actionable goals to achieve greater alignment and fulfillment.Kristen Tea will highlight the therapeutic and healing potential of creativity through art and coaching. She will guide participants through "Lines of Feeling," a warm-up exercise using colors to express emotions. Following this, participants will engage in the "Superhero Project," focusing on their personal strengths and superpowers as a self-love exercise, using drawing or writing to celebrate their best qualities.Allison Grippe will educate attendees about the vagus nerve and lead a workshop on gentle movements, exercises, mudras and mantras. These techniques are designed to be easily accessible when experiencing nervousness or anxiety, helping to calm the "butterflies" in the stomach.
