June 27, women of the community gathered at RiverHaven Events Center for an afternoon of inspiration and enlightenment with Megan Lewis, Owner and Cheesemonger at Milk Made, and Megan Bartholomay, Fine Wine Portfolio Specialist for Republic National Distributing Company.

Lewis and Bartholomay taught attendees how to find the perfect cheese and wine pairing and craft an elegant cheese platter. Not only did attendees learn the art of cheese and wine, but they also learned the art of finding oneself through life’s many trials and tribulations.

Lewis shared her story and the challenges she faced starting a new business as a mother. She shared how she found the perfect pairing with her work and professional life but also explained how it did not come easily.

Bartholomay shared her experience with chasing a dream that led her down a different path and the ups and downs of her professional journey that made her the successful woman she is today.

The pair left attendees feeling inspired - sending them home with the takeaway to face their fears and embrace change, because it's never too late to start something new.
