Within 3 short years, this small business hosted hundreds of weddings and events, won multiple awards, and was ready to expand. So, in 2022, The Pines unveiled the finished product of Pines Black, which is another venue available on site. This update also included site-wide property improvements.
With the additional on-site venue, The Pines has found success through increased bookings and referred clientele. As a result, overall revenue and profitability have seen consistent growth year to year. With the addition of Pines Black came an opportunity to double the Pines’ event capacity, making it the region’s best and largest capacity wedding venue property.
Not only did capacity grow, but so did the need for enhanced staffing structure and operational procedures. The Pines expanded their staff in order to focus on client acquisition, enhanced marketing and an unparalleled customer experience. The Pines team takes great pride in their remarkable team and the reputation they have formed.
Like many businesses, The Pines faced adversity during the COVID-19 pandemic, because their venue is known for having high capacities and bringing large groups of people together. Facing this adversity with grace, The Pines consulted each client and allowed flexibility to move dates, assisted with re-envisioning events and sometimes even added a second date to give client’s the opportunity to celebrate their big day at a later time.
The Pines has been voted the Best Wedding and Event Venue of the Red River Valley four years in a row, claiming the title in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. The Pines has left an impact on the local wedding and event industry, following their goal and mission to "Build Experiences That Last a Lifetime."
