Junior Achievement programs equip K-12 students with the skills needed to succeed in school and in life. We teach them how to manage money, how to prepare for a successful career, and how to start businesses that create jobs. JA empowers students to make a connection between what they learn in school and how it can be applied in the real world.
Junior Achievement programs are taught in more than 40 schools throughout the Fargo-Moorhead area. During the 2018-19 school year, 10,634 area students experienced JA programming. JA strives to provide relevant, fundamental learning opportunities for students in grades K-12, preparing them for a lifetime of success.
Each year JA partners with nearly 500 community volunteers to teach our programs to local students. Through age-appropriate curricula, Junior Achievement programs teach children how they can impact the world around them as individuals, workers and consumers, and prepare students to succeed in school and beyond.
