The Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce, representing over 1,900 businesses across the FMWF metro and beyond, STRONGLY OPPOSES this proposed mandatory paid leave program. Due to the extremely tight labor market, the free enterprise system has and will continue to provide competitive compensation packages, including paid leave and customized benefits that fit their employees and workplace culture. The ability of our community and Chamber to influence local, state and national leaders and elected officials can give rise to opportunities that would otherwise not be possible.
