ELECTION 2026 – YOUR VOTE MATTERS: Know Before You Go
By Cale Dunwoody, Vice President of Public Policy | FMWF Chamber
Find polling places, voting hours and information for the November 3 General Election.
It’s officially voting season here in the Fargo-Moorhead area! With so many candidates and measures on the ballot for midterms it can be overwhelming to head to the polls. The FMWF Chamber’s Center for Civic Engagement is here to help educate on how, when, and where to vote, whether you reside in North Dakota or Minnesota.
The General Election
is Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026.
The 2026 midterm elections are a chance to help shape the future of our communities, our region, and our state. Voting is one way we can make our voices heard and take part in the decisions that affect our everyday lives. State and local elections can influence issues important to our families, businesses, and communities, from public safety and infrastructure to economic development, workforce initiatives, and quality of life.
At the FMWF Chamber, we believe everyone should have access to clear, reliable election information. Our role is to encourage civic engagement and help voters feel prepared.
Whether you plan to vote early or on Election Day, we encourage you to take a little time to learn about the candidates and issues on your ballot.
To help, The Chamber’s Center for Civic Engagement created VoteFMWF.org, a nonpartisan resource for our community. You’ll find information on how to register, where to vote, and what's on your ballot, including video profiles that let you hear directly from candidates in their own words.
We hope VoteFMWF.org makes it easier to get informed, feel confident about your choices, and take part in the election. No matter where you stand, your voice matters, and we’re here to help you make it heard.
