Prepare for the 2026 Minnesota legislative session. Join business leaders and lawmakers at the Minnesota Legislative Session Preview.

The 2026 Minnesota Legislative Session is fast approaching, and for businesses, early awareness matters. Decisions made at the Capitol will shape workforce availability, cost pressures, regulatory requirements and long-term competitiveness across our region. The sooner employers understand what’s ahead, the better positioned they’ll be to plan, adapt and advocate.

Join us on Feb. 4, 2026, for the Minnesota Legislative Session Preview, where lawmakers and business leaders will come together for an early look at the issues expected to shape the session ahead.

Why the Minnesota Legislative Session Preview Matters for Business

Too often, businesses feel the impact of legislation after decisions are already made. This preview event is designed to flip that script. You’ll hear directly from Minnesota legislators as they share:

  • their priorities for the 2026 session
  • early signals on budget considerations, mandates and regulatory changes
  • how workforce, housing, child care, and education may be addressed
  • what lawmakers are hearing from their districts as the session begins

Key Issues Expected to Shape the 2026 Session

While the session is still taking shape, several topics are already emerging as areas of focus for Minnesota businesses, including:

  • workforce availability and talent development
  • child care access and affordability
  • housing supply and infrastructure
  • taxes, business mandates and competitiveness
  • permitting and regulatory reform
  • economic development and border city legislation
