Named ChamberChoice Business of the Year at the May 15 ChamberChoice Awards, Steffes Group embodies the leadership and innovation that strengthens not only its industry, but the entire Fargo Moorhead West Fargo region. Built to Grow – With Purpose
In just three years, Steffes Group has added 52 new team members, bringing its workforce to 167 strong. In 2024 alone, the company saw a 22% revenue increase and invested over $8.5 Million in new equipment and facilities.
The growth is also geographic. With the 2023 acquisition of a Canadian auction firm, Steffes Group is now serving clients across North America.
But numbers only tell part of the story.
Innovation Born from Challenge
When a software crash threatened a major auction in 2020, the company could have faltered. Instead, Steffes doubled down on its core strength: adaptability.
Steffes built an in-house tech team that created “Nucleus,” a proprietary auction platform designed for performance and scale. When the pandemic halted live events, Steffes smoothly shifted online, setting records and a new blueprint for digital excellence.
Investing in People – Every Step of the Way
Steffes Group’s culture centers on employees. They receive paid health insurance, 401(k) matching, generous paid time off and a mentorship program called “Bidding on Success.”
That investment pays off. Steffes Group maintains customer satisfaction scores that surpass industry standards because happy teams build strong client relationships.

The company’s generosity reaches far beyond its walls. Steffes Group matches donations on Giving Hearts Day, supports more than 100 charity auctions yearly and contributes time and resources wherever they’re needed most.
