EDventures is a professional development program that takes education professionals beyond the classroom and into local businesses. In partnership with the Cass County Career and Technical Education Center and FARMS, this program provides education professionals with real-world insights to help students better prepare for future careers.
For education professionals
This free program offers a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes at local businesses and organizations, providing a fresh perspective on what it takes to succeed in the workforce.
Visit the organizations that interest you, hear directly from employers about skills and education their fields require, and take this knowledge back to the classroom, empowering students with new information they can use to prepare for the evolving workforce.
For businesses
Get ready to welcome local education professionals into your world. This is a chance to open your doors, show off your business and help shape the future workforce.
Educators will visit your business for 90 minutes, where you’ll showcase what makes your industry exciting, share the skills and qualifications that matter most, and build connections that ripple back to the classroom.
Interested in hosting a session?
We're looking for a variety of fields to be represented at this year's EDventures! Whether you’re in agriculture, finance, health services or another field, your perspective can play a key role in preparing the next generation of our workforce.
