Chamber Wins 2019 MACE Award
The Bridge named “Publication of the Year”
Moorhead, Minnesota (May 7, 2019) – The Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce received the Publication of the Year Award at the 2019 Mid-America Chamber Executives (MACE) conference last week in Sioux Falls, S.D. The award recognized the monthly Chamber newsletter, The Bridge.
The annual MACE awards are given by the MACE committee as an example of the highest examples of hard work, passion and effort displayed by chambers across a six-state region. The Publication of the Year award recognizes a publication that has shown innovation, relevance to the organization, quality content, originality, and audience engagement tactics that provide a benchmark for other organizations to follow.
The Bridge is a monthly printed publication that is mailed directly to members, emailed to a list of over 10,000 individuals, and published online for web visitors to download and read.
“Throughout the years, our team has been dedicated to making The Bridge push the boundaries of a traditional chamber newsletter and stand out for its value to members,” said Amanda Huggett, manager of communications and marketing. “It’s more than a guide to upcoming events and announcements. We work hard to present engaging articles, timely information, aesthetically pleasing and modern design, and sections that recognize the great work of our committees and members.”
“It was a great surprise and honor to receive this prestigious award,” said Jim Parsons, VP of finance & operations at The Chamber, who accepted the award on behalf of the organization at the conference. “We were in great company among the other nominees. Hats off to our team for their terrific work!”
