Chamber Wins 2018 MACE Award
Moorhead, Minnesota (May 4, 2018) – The Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce received the Digital Campaign of the Year Award at the 2018 Mid-America Chamber Executives (MACE) Conference this week in Sioux Falls, S.D. The award recognized the 2017 Voices of Vision event featuring NBA legend and accomplished businessman Shaquille O’Neal.
The annual MACE awards are given by the MACE committee as an example of the highest examples of hard work, passion and effort displayed by chambers across a six-state region. The Digital Campaign of the Year award was designed to honor inventive media and digital platform content that has shown to push the boundaries of the traditional chamber publication. This includes email, websites, banner ads, online marketing, social media, videos and more. It demonstrates what makes digital the wave of the future for quality, originality and engagement that paves the way.
Our nearly three-month campaign consisted of a promotional video series, social media strategy, email marketing, digital billboards and more, not to mention accompanying printed materials and word of mouth marketing. The result was the biggest and most successful Chamber event to date, which drew over 1,400 attendees and 76 sponsors.
“This campaign was a great way to get our Chamber staff and event sponsors in front of the general membership and public in a fun and engaging way,” said Tyler Fischbach, multimedia coordinator for The Chamber, who accepted the award at the conference. “Video is taking over when it comes to media consumption, and it is a great way to tell a story and humanize your brand. It was so much fun and an honor to work on this campaign.”
“It was a great surprise and honor to get the news that this event won such a prestigious award,” said Craig Whitney, president & CEO of The Chamber. “Hats off to our talented communications and events team for their terrific work. I can’t wait to work on this year’s Voices of Vision campaign!”
