    About Us

JLG Architects was founded in 1989 in Grand Forks, ND as a two-person architecture firm. Today, JLG’s 200+ employee-owners span nine U.S. offices, approaching architecture in the same way we do the design of our firm – to stand the test of time. As one of the country’s Top 50 Best Places to Work (Inc. Magazine) and 50 Most Admired Companies (MSN Money), JLG is driven by the belief that what we do is more than just a job; it’s about making life better for our clients and communities. We elevate value by creating collaborative solutions that increase our clients’ well-being, brand, and bottom line – staying on budget and on time. JLG is built to empower the people who power our communities, giving back to the communities we love by donating 1% of our architectural billings each year to not-for-profit services.
