About Us
Dakota Fence specializes in residential, commercial, industrial, oil, and security containment fences. Dakota Fence is a division of DFC Company.
DFC Company is the parent company to six operating companies – Dakota Fence, Dakota Playground, 3D Specialties, Sign Solutions USA, Park and Play USA, and Town & Country Fence. DFC Companies six companies sell and install all types of fence, traffic control, highway guardrail, park and playground equipment, and signs.
3D Specialties is our traffic control business. Sign Solutions USA is our retail arm of the business, where we sell and manufacture signs and distribute them nationwide. Park and Play USA sells site amenities at parks, playgrounds and schools. Town and Country Fence is our newest DFC Company located out of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
Our offices are located across North Dakota in Fargo, Bismarck, Minot and Williston, as well as in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
DFC Company is a family-owned business spanning 3 generations. The founders Dave Currier, his brother Dan Currier, and father Dick Currier all joined forces and started DFC Company from their backyard garage in 1972.
In 2015, Joe Currier took over as President and CEO of DFC Company. Joe and his siblings John Currier and Amy Mickelson own DFC Company and steer the company into the future.
