• Sign Production Specialist - Sublimation

    POSITION SUMMARY

    • We seek to hire a positive, energetic, and self-motivated Sign Production Specialist to produce high quality sublimated signage. Our ideal candidate will fit into our fast-paced production environment and strong team culture.

    PRIMARY DUTIES

    • Operate fabrication equipment, primarily sublimation heat presses to fuse printed graphics to sublimated substrates, such as metal, creating high quality office and personal signage

    • Operate light-duty and Heavy duty shears to measure and cut basic, yet precise sign substrates

    • Perform thorough cleaning and quality checks of all sublimated products before passing them onto Assembly or other departments

    • Efficiently produce a wide variety of sublimated signs to reach and exceed departmental production goals

    • Troubleshoot variances in materials and make machine adjustments accordingly

    • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Office Sign Company and affiliated brand’s products and services.

    • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of production equipment to ensure high quality products and efficient production.

    • Consistent communication to your team and manager

    SECONDARY DUTIES

    • Provide backup support to other production departments with the willingness to jump in and help when necessary

    • Research industry trends on signage, particularly in sublimated products and educate team members on research

    • Contribute to high-level discussions about department operations and growth

    • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned by your manager 

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Previous experience working in the sign industry or in a productions or quality control environment

    • Knowledge or prior experience utilizing Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or similar software

    • Previous experience with maintain shop equipment and materials, as well as troubleshooting and diagnosing machine malfunction/failure

    • Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills

    • Must have an unmatched attention to detail and accuracy

    • Must possess a strong knowledge in technology, including computers, internet, phones, etc.
