    We are currently seeking a full-time Assistant Deli Manager at our Southgate and Express  locations.  The primary responsibilities of this position is to assist the Deli Manager in planning and managing the Deli Department so as to promote sales and achieve profit margins and labor goals as projected. To contribute toward ensuring a positive shopping environment for customers and positive working conditions for employees.


    Position requires comprehensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of the deli operation. Departmental goal setting is collaborative with Deli Manager and Store Manager. Position is responsible for assisting Deli Manager with ongoing departmental planning, execution and evaluation in order to ensure maximum sales, effective cost control and efficient utilization of labor. Position requires ability to encourage individual and group effort toward department objectives and to provide training, development and work direction in a consistent and supportive manner.
