    Membership Director Position Summary:

    This position directs all aspects of membership including recruitment of new members, retention of existing members and supervision of assigned staff. Develops, plans and implements new procedures and methods to achieve strategic goals. Delivers excellent service to all members, guests, and program participants. Responds to member and guest needs, promotes membership and maintains all aspects of front desk staff responsibilities.

    Supervision of: Member Services Coordinator, Member Relations Coordinator, Member Engagement & PlayTown Coordinator

    Required Education, Certifications, Experience:

    1. Bachelor's Degree in a directly related field, or an equivalent combination of directly related experience, training and/or education
    2. CPR/FA Certification for Adult, Child and Infant

    YMCA Benefits:

    • Full Time - Exempt
    • Free Family/Household Package YMCA Membership.
    • Paid Time Off - Full Time employees will begin accruing PTO immediately upon their Full Time employment start date.
      • The YMCA believes that time away from work is beneficial to your health and welfare. PTO includes all vacation, sick and holiday time combined into one account. You will start accruing PTO immediately upon hire and you may begin using it immediately.
      • The amount that you accrue is based on the amount of hours that you worked in that pay period, and the amount accrued is based on your years of service. For someone working 40 hours per week, the accrual rate is as follows: 0-2 years of employment: 6.48 hours per pay period (or 21 days per year); 2-5 years of employment: 8 hours per pay period (or 26 days per year); 5+ years of employment: 9.52 hours per pay period (or 31 days per year).
    • 12% Retirement Plan - The YMCA will automatically contribute an additional 12% of the eligible employees monthly income into their YMCA Retirement Plan when the following requirements are met:
