    The Security Analyst is responsible for monitoring and responding to the technical security needs of the organization to ensure the utmost security of company data and information at all times. This position will be responsible for maintenance of our many security related systems throughout the company. The Security Analyst will coordinate both technical and physical security technology, working closely with the bank security officers and other key stakeholders, to ensure compliance and adherence to policy and industry best practices. This position is responsible to ensure successful auditing, monitoring, documentation, collaboration, and overall security. The Security Analyst maintains corresponding documentation that is necessary to produce a stable, quality, and robust systems. The Security Analyst assists other team members to ensure systems are designed with a security focus. 

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Administration and maintenance of security systems (Endpoint Protection, DLP, Firewalls, Email Encryption, etc.)
    • Coordinating Physical Security Technology With Branch Security Officers and other key stakeholders
    • Auditing Active Directory schemes, permissions, etc. and ensuring adherence and follow up is completed for outstanding concerns
    • Automation of security best practices using Powershell or other scripting technologies
    • Investigating, responding, documenting various alerts and notifications
    • Managing/Reviewing outstanding patching and software versions
    • Triaging, reporting and remediation on vulnerability scans
    • Tracking and reviewing exceptions to policies or procedures
    • Monitoring health and wellness of various systems
    • Creation of various reports for management
    • Stay up-to-date on information technology trends and security standards
    • Other tasks and responsibilities as needed

    Associates degree or two-year college equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, MIS, or related field. 2+ years of Systems/Security Engineer experience required. Industry certifications preferred.
