• Quality Assurance Specialist (loan processing)

    The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist is responsible to assist and support staff with post-closing consumer and in-house real estate (home-equity). This position must have knowledge consumer and in-house related guidelines and regulations in order to build out this program and be a resource to others in determining proper process and documentation requirements. The QA Specialist will be responsible for reviewing variances to policies, processes or procedures, ensuring accuracy of documentation and promptly reporting findings and recommending corrective action to lenders, processors or their department managers. 

    Duties and Responsibilities: 

    • Consolidate post-closing duties into a centralized role 
    • Work closely with the Consumer and In-House processing teams in order to build out the QA function for all loans 
    • Handle post-closed loan activities as they relate to consumer and in-house real estate including file retention, scanning and collateral perfection. 
    • Perform quality control review for consumer and in-house real estate documentation and system upload. 
    • Track and report exceptions and work with appropriate team members to remedy exceptions. Review and identify areas of opportunity and weakness from trends in QA analysis, provide information to management for further training. 


    This is a full time position with benefits. 

    Minimum of three years’ experience in loan underwriting/processing required. Preferred experience working in a QA function and/or building out the QA function as related to loan processing.
