    The Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for the processing of secondary market, residential real estate loans for underwriting, closing, shipping, funding, and post-funding. This is done all in accordance with the organization’s mission, vision, values, team guidelines, and business plan and secondary market investor and program guidelines. Additional responsibilities may include tasks assigned.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Review loan applications for completeness and ensure all necessary documents for compliance and processing are in the file. 
    • Assist Mortgage Loan Officers in obtaining documentation to prepare the file for underwriting, including but not limited to Appraisal order, Flood Certification, and title work orders. 
    • Gather conditions as required by underwriter. 
    • Prepare the loan for closing, funding, and post-funding. 
    • Input, update, and monitor rate lock expirations with each investor and report to manager weekly on pending expirations. 
    • Communicate with title companies, realtors and appraisers as need to maintain up-to-date information and file detail.
    • Prepare daily rate sheet for mass distribution. 
    • Field questions from other departments of the bank as it relates to secondary market mortgage loans. 
    • Participate in bank and community activities. 
    • Provide compliance uploads as directed. 
    • Other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned. 

    High School diploma required, mortgage experience preferred.
