Credit Officer/ Credit Analyst
The Credit Officer or Credit Analyst is responsible to underwrite and analyze financial statements in accordance to the organization’s vision, core values, team guidelines and business plan. This position is responsible to respond to customer loan requests by working cohesively with the lenders to ensure the bank’s and customer’s best interests are both kept in mind through the credit analysis. This position works to ensure that Western State Bank continues to provide a superior customer experience through the ongoing successful credit analysis process and administration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Position will have heavy focus on successfully underwriting loan transactions. This includes working with teammates, lenders, and appraisers to ensure a successful credit analysis takes place and is in accordance with loan policy and standards.
- Ensure effective ongoing credit administration by keeping files, ticklers, and reminders current.
- Other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.
Minimum qualifications for the Credit Officer position include: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience required.
Minimum qualifications for the Credit Analyst position include: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred, with a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience preferred.
