    The Bank Operations – Banker Support will lead the proactive and continuous assessment of current bank and system practices to ensure team members abide by policies and regulations while also providing our customers with the superior customer service experience that is expected at all Western locations. This position will complete on-site visits and work closely with location team members and management to develop training and learning opportunities around system and process developments. The Bank Operations – Banker Support will ensure compliance and risk mitigation is at the forefront of educating our team members on how to use our systems properly and follow processes accordingly to minimize risk to the bank and its customers.  


    Duties and Responsibilities:  


    •  Lead system and process assessment initiatives involving location team members and locations; ensuring compliance, risk mitigation and consistency throughout all locations.  
    • Serve as the main channel of communication to and from our bank locations and team members in the areas of Internal Controls, Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, account opening, account maintenance and system and/or product updates.  
    • Provide training and guidance to bank team members to ensure understanding of current and newly implemented system and procedural updates.  
    • Develop strategies and implement activities to minimize or mitigate losses, product rollouts, system updates or other related changes and/or updates. Complete special projects for bank locations involving dissemination of information important for our team members to complete the expectations of their positions and support the overall performance goals of the team.   


    This is a full time position with benefits.  


    Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. Minimum of five years financial service industry experience related to retail banking and/or branch operations required. Position will require occasional travel.
