A Champion's Mindset | From Adversity to Triumph
Strategies for overcoming any obstacle to thrive through any challenge
While training for the Tokyo 2021 Olympics, Chaunte faced the daunting challenges of undergoing chemotherapy and a double mastectomy. Despite these overwhelming obstacles, she persevered, demonstrating extraordinary strength and an unyielding spirit. Chaunté’s experience with breast cancer not only highlights her courage but also makes her deeply relatable to anyone who has faced significant personal battles. Attend this event to hear how she overcame her struggles and gain insight into how you, too, can navigate and triumph over your own challenges.
At age 20, Lowe realized her childhood dream of becoming an Olympian, making her the first woman from Georgia Tech’s track and field team to achieve this honor. The following year, Lowe won silver at the 2005 World Championships to become the first American woman to win a world outdoor championships high jump medal since Louise Ritter in 1983. Lowe graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in economics, and after returning from the 2012 Olympic Games, she started teaching trigonometry at Grayson High School in Atlanta. Chaunté Lowe most recently represented the U.S. in her fourth Olympic Games in the summer of 2016.

Chaunté is a woman you can relate toJust like many of you, Chaunté is a businesswoman who has to balance the lifestyle of being a wife and mother of three. Beyond her remarkable athletic accomplishments, she has faced and overcome great adversity, showing that resilience and determination can triumph over any obstacle. Chaunté's journey is a powerful reminder that she is not only an exceptional athlete but also a woman who shares the same challenges and triumphs as you. You won't want to miss this opportunity to learn from a woman you can relate to and discover strategies to overcome your own obstacles and thrive through any challenge that comes your way.
