Have you heard the phrase, "Stay in your lane"?
According to Merriman-Webster, the phrase “Stay in your lane” is a rebuke or advice against those who want to express a thought or opinion about a subject they’re not an expert on, or perhaps don’t have a lot of experience with.
I'm not a fan of this phrase. I want you to know that it's OK to leave your lane and try new things. I'll share some stories about how I've left my lane at work and at home...and how it's changed my life.
