If you work with people, chances are you have encountered your share of performance issues. There likely isn’t a workplace without them. It may even seem like you are addressing the same performance issue over and over. Maybe you have thrown multiple resources, like money, people, consultants, training and the like at a problem only for it to reappear. Let’s stop the madness!
There is a way that you can systematically identify, diagnose and address these issues for good. Join us at this Chamber Business Training session where we will focus on not only how to accurately identify performance issues and gaps, but also match them to one of the six major influences of performance problems. Using that information, we will discuss how to match the problem to the best solutions. You will find out how a shift in thinking and the application of a specific process can save the pain of recurring performance issues in increase your team and organization’s effectiveness.This month's presenter:

After attending this session, participants will be able to:- Look beyond the immediate issue to identify the desired end result
- Use a specific method of analysis to identify performance gaps
- Identify the six major influences of performance problems and their corresponding solutions
- Match solutions to the performance issue
- Revisit the problem to evaluate solution effectiveness

About the presenter
Jess Almlie has been working to increase the effectiveness of people and organizations for over 20 years. Currently, Jess serves as the Vice President for Learning Experience at Discovery Benefits, a WEX Company where she is instrumental in developing and sharing vision for effective learning. Jess holds a bachelor’s in Organizational Communication from Concordia College, a Master’s in Educational Leadership from North Dakota State University and a certificate in Human Performance Improvement through the Association for Talent Development (ATD). Jess is a past chair of the Chamber’s Business Training committee and currently volunteers as a board member for the North Dakota chapter of ATD.
