Eggs & Issues -
Courtyard by Marriott Fargo-MoorheadDescription
April’s Eggs & Issues session is centered around U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and is the rescheduled speaker and topic originally set for January (which was postponed due to the government shutdown). We welcome in the Port Director for Field Operations in Warroad, Minnesota, to speak about Customs and Border Protection Trusted Traveler Programs to include NEXUS and Global Entry. These new technological advancements allow for expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. Additionally, Olafson will discuss the Remote Offsite Arrival mobile application that allows travelers to check in with CBP at the Northwest Angle, MN and in certain remote parts of the country.
With both North Dakota and Minnesota being on our county’s border, and national security being a current topic of debate, join us for this timely discussion to hear both local concerns and opportunities.
