Have you ever been assigned to lead a project, but don't have experience in project management? Or, been assigned to a project and not sure what your role is? Maybe you're a leader who wonders how teams can work better together to drive results.
In the ever-changing world we live in, projects will become an integral function within companies. People will need to have the capabilities and skills to turn vision into reality, and deliver financial and societal value.
This training will focus on four key principles related to project management: begin with the end in mind, stakeholder engagement, project team dynamics, and good processes.This month's presenter:

Jason Orloske is a transformational business leader with over 20 years' experience helping companies bridge the gap between vision and reality through strategic development and project portfolio management. His experience in technology, biopharma, healthcare and legal & regulatory industries has given Jason a diverse background with a variety of teams and project types. Jason has implemented and lead Project Management Offices (PMOs) with portfolio size up to $95M and lead teams as large as 75 people, both on and offshore. He has no greater joy than developing a successful project team environment and combining everyone's talents to make a difference.
Jason is a member of Minnesota State University Moorhead's project management advisory board, a Project Management Institute (PMI) volunteer and co-founded an Agile/Scrum learning network in North Dakota and Minnesota. He is a frequent presenter at PMI and other project management events, blogger and author.
Jason also mentors junior project managers and provides coaching and training to those wanting to move into or know more about the profession. He is a servant leader and a self-proclaimed helper, whose goal is to help individuals, teams and companies be successful.This training qualifies for 1.5 CPE credits through SHRM.
