VP | Business Development
Dale Carnegie of ND & MN
@DCNDMNBethanyThe need for leaders to be equipped with skills to navigate organizational changes and downturns is vital and recent research confirms it; Deloitte notes that the rate of projected mergers and acquisitions is at an all-time high and the Bureau of Labor and Statistics showcases the increasing rate of baby boomers approaching retirement. Not to mention, a recent survey conducted by The Chamber found that workforce challenges continues to be the number one issue impacting North Dakota businesses.
Maintaining high levels of engagement and productivity when times are tough is imperative for organizational culture and health; however, particularly during times of transition, attitudes and behaviors are contagious and it takes only one person to either negatively or positively influence the masses. Often, the hard times elicit fear and uncertainty, which can tank engagement and create additional barriers to move forward and rebuild.Throughout this interactive session, you will discover how your workforce is impacted when times are tough, understand practical ways to boost engagement, reduce stress and worry, and handle difficult conversations so you are prepared to positively influence behaviors and attitudes and drive productivity.
