In May, NDSU President Dr. David Cook and NDSCS President Dr. Rod Flanigan will take the Eggs & Issues stage to discuss a range of essential topics related to the current state of higher education in North Dakota. These topics will include budget cuts, enrollment trends, capital project needs, career academy updates, meeting workforce needs, legislative session outcomes, and restructuring for the future.

NDSBHEThis session offers a unique opportunity for community and Chamber members to ask questions of and hear directly from the presidents of these two major institutions.
We are also welcoming North Dakota State Board of Higher Education (NDSBHE) board member Jeffry Volk to kick off the event to provide an overview of the higher education landscape in North Dakota. NDSBHE is the policy-setting body for the North Dakota University System.
Attendees can expect a lively discussion on the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for higher education in North Dakota.

The next session will welcome a similar Eggs & Issues conversation with our Minnesota higher education presidents. President Dr. Colin Irvine of Concordia College, President Dr. Carrie Brimhall of M-State and President Dr. Tim Downs of MSUM will discuss essential topics and share insights and outlooks for their institutions. By the time of this event, both President Irvine and President Downs will have begun their first academic year on their respective campuses.REGISTRATIONS
