  • Applications for the 2020 ChamberChoice Awards are now closed.

    The ChamberChoice Awards program recognizes businesses, organizations and entrepreneurs in our community for their significant contributions as drivers of economic growth.

  • Small Business of the Year

    • Has 25 or fewer FTEs.
    • Must be a privately held, for-profit business/organization.
    • Must be a current member in good standing with The Chamber.
    • Has been in business in the FMWF community for a minimum of three years (since January 1, 2017).
    • Shows stability or growth in sales, services and/or number of individuals served and/or expanded products and services.
    • Demonstrates a commitment to ethical business practices.
    • Demonstrates a commitment to employee support and development.
    • Demonstrates corporate citizenship and/or community leadership.

  •  

  • Not-for-Profit of the Year

    • Annual operating budget (total revenue) $500,000 or more. Budget size can be found on line 12 on Form 990 or line 9 on Form 990-EZ for the most recent fiscal year.
    • Must be a registered 501(c) (3) not-for-profit as defined by IRS standards in the FMWF community.
    • Must be a current member in good standing with The Chamber.
    • Has been in business in the FMWF community for a minimum of three years (since January 1, 2017).
    • Shows stability or growth in services and/or number of individuals served and/or expanded programs and services.
    • Proven contribution to the community's overall quality of life.
    • Demonstrates a commitment to ethical business practices.
    • Demonstrates a commitment to employee support and development.

  • Entrepreneur of the Year

    • Individual is a founder, owner, CEO or president of a business and is primarily responsible for the recent outstanding achievements and performances of the business.
    • Has been in business in the FMWF community for a minimum of three years (since January 1, 2017).
    • Demonstrates outstanding entrepreneurial success that has led to the creation of new wealth and job opportunities in our region.
    • Must be a current member in good standing with The Chamber.
    • Demonstrates a commitment to ethical business practices.
    • Demonstrates a commitment to employee support and development.
    • Demonstrates corporate citizenship and/or community leadership.
  • Business of the Year

    • Has more than 25 FTEs.
    • Must be a privately held, for-profit business/organization.
    • Must be a current member in good standing with The Chamber.
    • Has been in business in the FMWF community for a minimum of three years (since January 1, 2017).
    • Shows stability or growth in sales, services and/or number of individuals served and/or expanded products and services.
    • Demonstrates a commitment to ethical business practices.
    • Demonstrates a commitment to employee support and development.
    • Demonstrates corporate citizenship and/or community leadership.

  • Young Professionals Best Place to Work

    • Employs young professionals who are defined as under 40 years old.
    • Open to all businesses, including not-for-profit and for-profit.
    • Organization supports total YP development.
    • Has been in business in the FMWF community for a minimum of three years (since January 1, 2017).
    • Must be a member in good standing with The Chamber

  • Why Participate?

    • ChamberChoice Awards allow you to enhance the value of your company and build trusted brand recognition in the community raising your profile among some of the most influential people in the public, private and voluntary sectors.
       
    • Multiple categories allow both small and large companies, not-for-profits and entrepreneurs equal chances to win.

    • If you win a ChamberChoice Award, you are honored onstage and featured in a short video showcasing your company and why you were selected in front of an audience of more than 700 business and community leaders, as well as online. You can also use it for your own marketing and promotional purposes.
       
    • Winners are featured on a digital billboard throughout the community.
       
    • Winners receive a member profile article in The Bridge, which has a circulation of over 3,000 in print and over 10,000 online.
       
    • Winners will have exposure via The Chamber’s social media outlets.
       
    • An award is a cost-effective way to thank your valued employees, executives and clients for their hard work and dedication.
