The Career Expo is the region’s premier hands-on career exploration event, connecting nearly 4,000 high school students with the industries shaping our future.

Hosted each December, the Career Expo immerses students in interactive, real-world experiences across health care, technology, skilled trades and other high-demand career fields. The expanded focus reflects the evolving workforce needs of our region while maintaining the industries and experiences that have long been central to the event. 

For schools, the expo reinforces classroom learning by sparking curiosity and helping students explore a wide range of career and education pathways. 

For exhibitors, it offers direct access to thousands of potential future employees while building awareness of in-demand careers.

For sponsors, the expo provides visibility as a leader in workforce development and a partner in strengthening our community’s long-term prosperity. 

Hosted by the FMWF Chamber, the Career Expo builds on more than 20 years of success, connecting students with careers. Formerly known as the Health, Tech and Trades Career Expo, the event anchors the Chamber’s broader workforce development efforts by bringing students, educators and employers together to build the talent pipeline of tomorrow.
