    Metro COG predicts 50,000 coming to FMWF

    A recent demographic forecast by the Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Governments (Metro COG) projected more than 50,000 jobs will be added to the region over the next 30 years. In preparation for the workforce increase, the Fargo-Moorhead West Fargo Chamber Foundation has already jumped into action using the Ignite Initiative and the Community Concierge Program.

    The Chamber Foundation receives $9.62 million EDA grant

    The Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber Foundation has been awarded a $9.62 million Economic Development Administration (EDA) Good Jobs Challenge Grant. The Chamber Foundation, in collaboration with backbone organizations such as Grand Farm Research and Education Initiative, North Dakota State College of Science, Emerging Prairie, University of Mary, and Workbay will bolster the region’s economy by developing the skilled workforce needed to support the regional agriculture, manufacturing and technology
