    North Dakota Cass County Voting Guide: Primary Election JUNE 14 
    There are two ways to vote in North Dakota - In-person or by absentee (mail-in)

    Fargo Voting Locations: June 14, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

    • DoubleTree, 825 E. Beaton Dr., West Fargo
    • Atonement Lutheran Church, 4601 University Dr. S, Fargo
    • Horace Fire & Rescue Event Center, 413 Main St. Horace
    • Casselton Days Inn, 2050 Governor’s Dr. Casselton
    • Northern Cass School, 16021 18th St. SE, Hunter
    • Tower City Community Center, 507 Broadway St., Tower City 
     

    Early Voting: June 6-10, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

    • June 7: Tower City Community Center, 507 Broadway St., Tower City
    • June 8: Kindred City Hall, 31 5th Ave N, Kindred
    • June 9-10: Casselton Days Inn, 2050 Governor’s Dr. Casselton 
     

    *With the flexibility of new voting machines, county residents can cast their ballot at any polling location. The machines offer the correct ballet based on the resident’s address.

     

    Absentee Voting

     

    Application:

     

    Cass County Voters must return their completed application to the Cass County Finance Office:

    • PO BOX 2806, Fargo ND 58108-2806
    • Secure Dropbox outside the Courthouse: 211 9th Street South, Fargo (dropbox is located on the eastern side of the building. Please put the absentee ballot application into an envelope labeled "Finance Office" and provide your name and contact details on the envelope before submitting it to the dropbox.)
    • Fax: 701-241-5728. 
     

    Ballots will become available 40 days before election

     

    Ballots Must be postmarked no later than the day before Election Day. You will receive your absentee with all the instructions necessary to submit your ballot.

    What is Approval Voting? 
     

    • Approval voting allows you to vote for all of the candidates you approve of, not just one. Instead of voting for one single candidate on your ballot, you can vote for any number of candidates you like.
    • Fargo mayor, Fargo City Commission and municipal judge races use approval voting.
    • Fargo School Board, Fargo Park District and West Fargo races do not use approval voting.
