Hello Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber members! I am thrilled to begin my role as your new president and CEO. As I write this, my family and I have just moved to our new home in West Fargo and are settling in as we learn more about this dynamic community.

We have felt welcomed from the start. In our time here so far, we have just begun discovering what makes up the fabric of this region. I am already energized by the vibrancy of this community, the opportunities for growth, the commitment of the leadership and Chamber team, and the tremendous foundation that has already been established. I look forward to building on this foundation.

While I might be new to Fargo Moorhead West Fargo, I am not new to the work of a chamber. I have had the pleasure of leading chambers and economic development organizations for the last 20 years.

I spent most of my career in the Midwest, most recently at the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce in Plymouth, Minnesota. It’s the third largest chamber in the Twin Cities, with 700 members, serving 10 suburban communities. Before that, I served as the president and CEO of the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce in Appleton, Wisconsin. There, we had 1,500 member organizations serving a dozen contiguous communities.

One of the reasons I was excited to come into this position was my experience representing multiple communities. I understand the importance of strong relationships and collaboration with elected officials, business leaders and member employees. I consider myself a pro-business advocate, and am passionate about workforce and economic development, strategic partnerships, special events, membership, inclusive strategies, and leadership development.

I am no stranger to complex situations and developing solution-based strategies. I believe that chambers should take risks, embrace change, and be bold in serving their communities.

I’m excited to get to work, learn more about what we can do together in Fargo Moorhead West Fargo, and meet all of you.
